About Build Pro

What is Build Pro, and what does "factory-direct" mean?

Build Pro is a factory-direct supplier of luxury vinyl plank flooring, matching trim and stair systems, trim moldings (door casing and baseboard), and large-format sintered stone slabs. We are the factory — the material comes straight from our production to our warehouse in Carmel, Indiana, with no importer, distributor, or sales rep in between. That's why our pricing typically runs 15–30% below market for the same quality.

Do you sell to homeowners, or only to the trade?

Both. Our core customers are dealers, flooring stores, builders, remodelers, and fabricators, and our Partner Program gives them wholesale pricing. Homeowners are welcome too — you can buy the same material at the same warehouse. Just call, email, or stop by the showroom.

Where are you located, and what are your hours?

Our showroom and warehouse are at 9700 Lakeshore Drive East, Suite #3, Carmel, Indiana 46280 — on the north side of Indianapolis. Hours are Monday–Friday 9 AM–5 PM and Saturday 10 AM–2 PM by appointment. Call 317-606-9122 or see the Contact page.

Do you offer installation?

Yes. We don't employ installers, but for homeowners we can arrange installation through the experienced, vetted subcontractors we work with every day — one call covers material and install. Trade customers usually bring their own crews, and if you need a good installer or stone fabricator, we keep a list and are glad to make an introduction.

Luxury Vinyl Plank Flooring

What kind of flooring do you sell?

Luxury vinyl plank (LVP) on rigid SPC and WPC cores — 27 colors in the full line, in 7" × 48" planks with an attached 1.5 mm IXPE pad. Stock platforms are SPC 5.0 mm with a 12 mil wear layer and SPC 6.5 mm with a 20 mil wear layer; select colors are also available in SPC 8.0 and WPC 8.0. Every color is shown with specs in our Flooring collection and the LVP catalog.

What's in stock in Carmel right now?

Six proven colors are stocked deep for will call — Alpha DV626, Barn Barrel DV628, Beach House DV604, Earl Pine DV617, Samba DV606, and Sandbanks DV601 — with roughly 3,000 to 6,000 square feet per color on the floor in both SPC 5.0 and 6.5 mm, plus matching stair and trim parts. Pull today, install tomorrow.

How long do the other colors take?

The rest of the 27-color line, and the 8.0 mm platforms, ship from our Cincinnati warehouse and typically arrive in 3–5 business days. For a large job, tell us your install date and we'll confirm availability before you commit.

Do you have matching stair parts and trim?

Yes. Every stock color carries a complete stair and trim program milled to match the plank — square and round stair treads with risers, stair nose, T-molding, reducers, and quarter round — so a staircase or transition matches the floor exactly. We also stock trim moldings — primed door casing and 5¼" baseboard. See the Trim & Stair and Trim Moldings catalogs.

What's the difference between SPC 5.0 and SPC 6.5?

Both are rigid stone-polymer-core planks with the same colors and the same 7" × 48" format. The 6.5 mm plank is thicker and carries a 20 mil wear layer, which is the usual choice for rentals, busy family homes, and light commercial spaces. The 5.0 mm plank has a 12 mil wear layer and is the value option for bedrooms, basements, and lighter-traffic areas.

Do you sell by the carton or by the square foot?

Flooring is sold in full, unopened cartons — 23.63 square feet per box on the stock platforms. We'll help you figure the carton count for your room, including a reasonable allowance for cuts and waste.

Do you deliver?

Will call at the Carmel warehouse is free and the fastest option. For trade customers we also offer delivery anywhere in the Indianapolis metro for a flat $200 per shipment. Material from Cincinnati can ship directly to the job as well — ask when you order.

Sintered Stone Slabs

What is sintered stone, and where is it used?

Sintered stone is a large-format slab made by pressing and firing natural minerals at extreme heat and pressure — the result is a dense, non-porous surface that resists stains, scratches, heat, freeze-thaw, and UV fading. Our slabs are 9 mm thick in 2400 × 1200 and 2700 × 1200 mm formats, in glossy, matte, skin-glaze, and skin-feel finishes. They're used for feature walls, shower and tub surrounds, fireplaces, exterior cladding, and accents — and they make an excellent countertop as well. Browse the Stone collection.

How are slabs sold?

By the full slab, crated in sets, and handled vertically. Slabs are stocked in Carmel, so a fabricator or builder can inspect the actual material before it leaves the warehouse. Cutting, edging, and installation are done by a fabricator — yours, or one of the trusted fabricators we work with and can recommend.

Pricing & Ordering

Why aren't prices listed on the website?

Because most of what we sell goes to trade accounts at wholesale pricing, and quotes depend on quantity, platform, and whether it's a stock or Cincinnati item. A quote takes a few minutes — email RyanO@BuildProIndy.com or call 317-902-2258 with the color, platform, and square footage.

How do I open a wholesale account?

Through the Partner Program. It's a short application for dealers, builders, remodelers, and fabricators; once you're approved you get dealer pricing on the full line, stock availability, and a direct line to Ryan for quotes.

Can I see the product before I buy?

Yes — and we'd rather you did. The showroom in Carmel has full planks of every stock color, the stair and trim parts, and the slabs themselves, not just small chips. Come by during business hours or set up a Saturday appointment, and ask about samples for your customer or homeowner.
